What we look at

One scan runs 135 checks across nine domains. Below is what we look at per domain, with two examples of the questions behind it — in plain language, not jargon.

  1. 01

    Structural readability

    66

Can an AI even read your page? We look at HTML structure, headings, semantic tags.

    • Are your opening hours text on your site, or only inside an image?
    • Can an AI read your page without running JavaScript first?
  2. 02

    Entity identity

    12

Does AI know who you are? Name, address, sector — unambiguous and consistent.

    • Does an AI know who you are — name, address and phone, written the same everywhere?
    • Does Bing know your business? That is the source ChatGPT leans on for local.
  3. 03

    Content answerability

    7

Do your texts answer the real questions customers ask?

    • Does your site answer the questions customers actually ask?
    • Are your services written in plain sentences, or only as menu items?
  4. 04

    Source authority

    13

Do others link to you? Citations, mentions, industry sources.

    • Does anyone else point to you: press, guides, associations?
    • Are you named in places an AI trusts?
  5. 05

    Factual specificity

    10

Real numbers, prices, examples — not just marketing talk.

    • Are there concrete figures on your site — prices, years, distances?
    • Or does it mostly read as \u201cquality\u201d and \u201ctailored service\u201d?
  6. 06

    Consistency

    8

Does your info match everywhere? Site, Google, social, directories.

    • Does your Google profile match what your website says?
    • Does every service in that profile have its own page?
  7. 07

    AI visibility

    8

What do ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude say about you today?

    • Does ChatGPT name you when someone asks for your trade?
    • And if it does not name you: which competitor does it name?
  8. 08

    Web reputation

    6

Reviews, mentions, sentiment across public sources.

    • Do AI systems find your reviews?
    • Are you on the platforms they consult for your sector?
  9. 09

    Agent readability

    5

Can AI agents understand and recommend your offering?

    • Does your robots.txt let the AI crawlers in, or shut them out by accident?
    • Do they find a sitemap and an llms.txt?

Transparency is a deliberate choice — you always see what we measure.

Why three assistants and not five

We put your questions to ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude. Other providers count five or more, which sounds more thorough. We deliberately keep three, for one reason: these are the assistants your customers in Belgium actually use. Grok is tied to X and DeepSeek is marginal here; measuring them would inflate the number without winning you a single customer. If that changes, our list changes with it — you'll read it in the AI Radar, with the date.

What else you could do

We're not the only way to tackle this, and for some businesses we're not the best one. Honestly, side by side:

  • Ask ChatGPT yourself

Free, takes two minutes, and worth doing anyway. You'll know whether you're named, but not why you aren't. Start here before spending anything.

  • A free score tool

It gives you a number and a sense of urgency. The trouble is that a number doesn't tell you what to do on Monday — which is why we removed our own number and replaced it with a work list.

  • An agency on a monthly contract

Worth it when someone needs to work on your visibility continuously and the budget is there. Pricier, slower to start, and you stay dependent. If you already have a web developer, our list is cheaper: you simply hand it to them.

  • A service that takes it over

Some providers do the work for you, for two to six hundred euro. That can be worth it if you genuinely have no time. Check two things: who you're buying from — a company with an address and a VAT number in your own country is easier to hold to account — and whether their figures cite a source. Nobody can guarantee what an AI will answer next month.
